the BPMACS (Bicol Producers & Manufacturers in Camarines Sur) celebrated the Christmas season with an outreach project at the Naga City jail.
the officers, led by the president - bernadette de los santos, gave a training on basic hand sewing and stitches. the finished products of the inmates will be used by the F.A.R.M. by bidibidi enterprise, to embellish fabric bags and totes, which will assure the inmates of a simple livelihood.
F.A.R.M. by bidibidi enterprise is a social enterprise that sends scholars to agricultural state university, provide livelihood to rural women and helps mitigate environmental problem by using discarded buttons and fabrics as the main material for the fashion accessories it creates.
BPMACS held its first ever group bazaar last 25-30 Nov 2012 at the emall, naga city. from among the officers and members of the group. 9 producers / manufacturers joined the said bazaar, which was done for a cause - to help women inmates at the naga city jail.
the group observed some rules to further champion their advocacies.
the bazaar was mainly to showcase products made or manufactured by DTI-registered enterprises. the exclusivity aims to encourage other small and micro entrepreneurs to join.
the bazaar participants spearheaded the use of paper packaging, instead of costly and environment-harmful plastic packaging materials.
proceeds from the bazaar was used to finance the livelihood skills training at the Naga City jail, for the women inmates.

16 september 2012 was the last day of the fair. an awarding ceremony was done to cap the 11-day fair. and F.A.R.M. bagged the "friendliest exhibitor" award.
this category is given to an exhibitor who earns the most number of votes from fellow exhibitors.
bidibidi, during the meeting held before the awarding ceremony, suggested that in the next fair, this award should be participated in by the patrons who may cast their votes either by dropping in their votes in a ballot box or thru e-voting.
this suggestions was well-received by the organizers and might just be implemented next year.
